Hotel Living

After several days of thinking the lice issue was taken care of, I found a nit in my hair! O MY GOSH! I was crying so hard when I called my mom that she probably thought someone died. I couldn't even talk, just cry. I was so overwhelmed and couldn't even put my thoughts in order. If I had it then how did I get it if IT was supposed to be gone. I had religiously checked everyone's hair, washed EVERYTHING, vacuumed EVERYTHING...I just did not even know what to do. I treated my hair and my loving, long-suffering husband combed though my hair. It was awful to have a guy comb through your hair no matter how sweet and loving they are. Unless of course it's a male stylist. : ) Then I might have not have had a bunch of my hair ripped out. My head is SO tender right now from all the washing and combing and checking. My sweet friend who does my hair came and checked my hair again and gave me the all clear on the whole family, but since we didn't know how someone else in the family could have gotten it that many days later we decided to move out of the house. If we aren't there than all the lice will die! So here we are in a hotel. It's not fun, but there are no more lice (that we know of : ). If we get lice from the hotel than we are in deep trouble. This is our last night and then we are going to stay in our RV and leave for our camping trip on Friday. By the time we get home on Sunday we will have been gone for 5 days. The carpet cleaners are coming while we are gone and ALL the laundry has been washed for a second time. If they are not gone after ALL that EVERYONE is getting their head shaved and we will become the BALD family. I am serious. I do not want to go through this ever again. AND if I hear another horrible story about people having it for MONTHS, Scot will have to put me in the looney bin. Go get the "bodka." I pray that my next post will be about the wonderful camping trip we had and I can put the lice story to bed. Just not our bed. Like a bed far away in another country...better yet another planet where no one lives and can pass it on to anyone else.
