In all fair-ness!
Today we went to the AR/OK State Fair. GG and Papa met us there. What a great time we had. The girls rode every ride they wanted, including the ferris wheel with GG and Papa. They were finally tall enough to ride bumper cars, but Avery was too tall to get in the inflatable jumping ride. We met up with our gymnastics group at the Dr. Pepper stage to watch an exhibition put on by the level 5,6, and 7 girls. We ate fair food. Funnel cakes, Dippin Dots, nachos, pecan brittle. We got to pet and feed goats. Sit on a BULL! I will have to upload the picture of that. The nice farmer who owned the bull, allowed us to pet his cows and gave the girls a lesson on a cow's digestive system. The girls found that fascinating. Benjamin loved every animal from a distance. He especially loved his GG. I do believe it was the best part of the fair for him. Ben did awesome, although he wanted on all the rides with his sisters. He even took a long nap in his stroller. Not like him at all. It could be that he is still recovering from his 2 shots. The Hib and Dtap vaccine he received on Friday. After crying and saying our good-byes to Papa and GG, we left the fair and drove to Lavaca to eat pizza at Steffe's. We went out to see our friends' houses that are being built and then headed home. Only to discover that Avery literally had nothing to wear to church tomorrow. NOTHING. So back in the car for me. I took Avery to get some much needed clothes and she was on cloud nine. Just Avery and mom time. It was great. Tomorrow we will be emptying closets and taking inventory so this doesn't happen again. I can barely move my legs. Pregnant women should not spend 6 hours at the fair and 2 hours clothes shopping in one day!
