Benjamin had his second set of tubes after three ear infections over the summer. So on September 24th he went under the knife again. Dr. Gwartney also took his adenoids out because of their enormous size. Runs in the family I guess. But he is sleeping again! Praise the Lord! He was so cute in pre-op holding his Lightning McQueen bat and ball. He did not want his fishing hat removed or his bat and ball taken away. It was only once his happy juice kicked in that he let us take it without a fight. We both hated the recovery. He was experiencing pain and swelling for a week. A lot rougher than his first tube surgery. The pain meds helped, but time helped the most. Now a few weeks out, he's doing awesome.
