I'm 32!

So 32 random things that have been happening in the Shaw home:
1. Benjamin has had a yucky cold and double ear infection... which led to antibiotics. Ugh!
2. Our hot water heater busted and we had to get a new one.... I had to boil water on the stove for kid baths! But thank you Jesus we had the cash to get it fixed. : )
3. I finished my Burning Heart Contract book and now just have to write my contract.
4. Scot took me on a date for my birthday to Marketplace and to see Confessions of a Shopaholic. We had so much fun!
5. The kids and Scot made me breakfast in bed for my birthday... Yummy!
6. My girls bought me a Wii fit with their OWN money!!! so precious.
7. My girls also could not wait for my birthday and have made it super special with their excitement and love for me. Avery told everyone we saw that it was my birthday. I need to go wake her up and hug her again.
8. Each girl made me a homemade card. Avery said, "you just go crazy on those chocolate strawberries." That they made with my breakfast. : )
9. Abby took Charlie potty in the boys bathroom, because that's where BOYS go to the bathroom! : ) She is such a good babysitter.
10. Avery can do her round off back handspring without a spot!
11. Abby started developmental gymnastics.
12. Benjamin crawls backwards. Can eat cherrios and sucks his thumb when we feed him pears. I guess it's a texture thing. or thang as Abby would say.
13. Abby has a much deeper grasp on her relationship with God than I give her credit for. At lunch, she told me that she serves God because she loves Him. More than any of us. And that daddy loves God the most, than mommy a little more than us, then he loves us. Wow!
14. Both girls are memorizing 1 Corinthians 13 and they are already to verse 4 in just 4 days. I love when Abby says, "and can fathom all mysteries..."
15. I got to go to lunch on my birthday with my mom, sister, Cailynn, Charlie, Avery, Abby, and Benjamin. It was a very good day.
16. I saw the movie, End of the Spear, this month. Very moving.
17. I had a great conversation with my dad today... a great one. And he sent me flowers.
18. My in-laws love me too and sent me a card and money for my birthday.
19. I received tons of birthday wishes today and an e-card from my sweet friend. : )
20. I went to a baby shower this past weekend for my sweet friend Emily and got to hold a yummy little newborn Harris.
21. The girls are doing great in school. Abby had a great report from the speech therapist... No therapy and they will retest in 6 months!
22. I've been reading a lot..... The Duggars 20 and Counting, The Burning Heart Contract, My Bible, Family Driven Faith, Defuse, Keeping Your Child's Heart, The Way of the Master for Kids, Raising Godly Tomatoes, and A Girl of Beauty.
23. I have been watching TV less, yet excited about American Idol.
24. I have been on the computer a lot less!
25. I am getting ready for the Growing Kids Sale.
26. We went and had pizza with the Hoelzemans last week. I love their company, and the kids put on a great fashion show. Abby of course wore everything sparkly they had!
27. Scot has been working out and looks awesome.
28. He bought me chocolates, the Fireproof movie, and a book light for Valentine's day. He is a man after my heart!
29. Scot has pulled many night shifts with me this month and for that I am forever grateful!
30. I don't mind getting older. I appreciate the richness of relationships that comes with time and wisdom.
31. I am especially grateful for the work God is doing in me.
32. I can say that I look forward to what 32 brings!
