3 weeks old and 21 months... babies are growing!

Aubrey is getting bigger! She is awake more often and for longer periods of time. She nurses anywhere from 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours. Still going longer stretches at night from 4 to 6 hours. If I could get it worked out with my sleep schedule then I would probably feel like I am getting some decent sleep. But it doesn't always work out. Last night I had to go to bed at 8 pm. She had fallen asleep at 6:30 pm. A deep, I am not getting up soon, sleep. So I went to bed. She woke up at 12:30 am. So 4 1/2 hours straight of sleep wasn't too bad. Then she went back to sleep at 1:45 am and slept until 6 am. She coos and smiles ALOT! She has big bright eyes which I can tell will probably turn blue. She is a sweetie pie!!

Benjamin is 21 months. Growing so big and tall. He weighs 26lbs. Where to start? He is still a big talker. His vocabulary is huge and growing every day. He is putting 2 and 3 words together now. He says lots of funny stuff too. Like "How do?" "Abbygail and Avery" "Mine!" "What's up?" "elmone (telephone)" "Sweeeet." He is big time into sports. Basketball, football, baseball. Any sport with a ball will do. He always notices cars, trucks, basketball goals, airplanes, motorcycles, big machinery, anything basically that a guy would notice. He makes lots of boy noises! Lots! He has almost stopped taking a bottle at night. He is sick right now with a pretty bad case pneumonia so he is asking for his bottle before bedtime. Last night we told him that he was a big boy and didn't need a bottle and he made a sad puppy face and said, "no!" He eats really well. His most favorite food is rice and beans. He always says, "beans! taco!" Code for, "I want rice and beans." That is fine with me. I love mexican food. He also likes Gerber fruit snacks, rice with peas and corn, and potatoes. He can now run, kick a ball, make a basket in his basketball goal (very impressive), and climb up and down everything! He loves his family and talks about them all the time. Every time he sees a person, he says, "Abbygail, Avery." It is so funny. He is a joy, my little boy!
