Out of the mouth's of babes....

Place: Walmart, frozen food section
Event: Family grocery shopping

Abby is hanging onto the end of the cart. Scot is pushing the cart. Abby in a loud voice, of course, informs Scot that, "you are not man enough to be pregnant." Laughing my head off! Where did that come from? That is Abby. She is so hilarious. She says the most outrageous things, completely out of the blue.

We make it to the checkout counter. Scot, Avery and I are unloading the cart's contents onto the conveyor belt. Abby is checking out the cheap toys in the checkout line. Scot stops putting groceries on the conveyor belt because it is full. He walks over and starts teasing and playing with Abby. As the belt starts moving, Avery starts helping me put more items up. It's getting more difficult for her as she is reaching farther into the cart. Under her breath, she says, "of course you have the kind of husband that doesn't help put up the groceries."

How old is she?? I laughed and said,"Daddy is a great helper...you know that." She remained frustrated that she was working so hard and he was playing. She doesn't realize that he is helping by helping with Abby. She cracks me up. She is just so serious. Scot says that we have one child and one adult. So true.
