Tonight was our homeschool mom's meeting that we call a Renew. We cover different topics each month, discuss the topic, and my most favorite part of all... Eat! So that's what we did tonight at my house. The topic was learning difficulties and the fabulous Dr. Wanda Vaughn was our guest speaker. Graciously, some "been there done that" moms came and shared also. What a HUGE blessing they all were. The conversation was so helpful to me. Our Aberdoodle Poodle Toodle has dyslexia. We have taken her to be evaluated by several professionals and we started some wonderful things with her. Those exercises are helping tremendously, but there is still much to be done. That is why tonight was so great. First, it helps me to relax a little in places that I am expecting too much too soon. Second, it gives me direction for what step we need to take next. Third, it connects me with other's who have struggling learners or who are the "been there, done that, have the t-shirt" crew. God is so good. All the time He is good.
While I was being "renewed," Avery and Abby got to spend the night with Papa and GG. Yeah! I hear that cousin, Parker, is with them and they were eating at P.F. Changs when I spoke to them last. Then they were off to the movies. What a fun night for them.
Scot and Benjiboy hung out here at the house. I have got some cute pictures to post soon. I hope to do that by Thursday. : )
"Since, then, we have been raised with Christ. Set your heart on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God."
Colossians 3:1 (Now we just have to learn like 24 more verses to finish this chapter!)

Rhonda I had no idea that Abby has been having a hard time. I am happy you have found other mothers and leaders to talk to and connect with. We love little Abbalina and are praying for her. Parker had a great time with the girls at Papa and Gg's!!
