Spring Break... not so much of a break

It's officially spring break, but not at this house. It was school as usual. Benjamin had a doctor's appointment to check on his ears. He gave us the all clear. I hope his ears stay that way because he started a runny nose yesterday. We have been giving him Zrytec at night to see if that will help with the congestion. I think he has allergies like Abby. He is looking so much like her today. His new trick is raising his eyebrows at you. Then he grins really big. Like, "look what I can do!" It is precious. He also has learned to give slobbery baby kisses. He leans in toward you with his mouth wide open and gives you a big wet one. His second tooth on the bottom broke through the gums today. So, basically, that means I held him all day! He weighed 19lbs 13oz today. I took the kids to the library. I got Abby a couple books on tape which I have been wanting to do for a long time. We didn't have a tape player and now we do! She listened to her first book when we got home and loved it. It was a book about a man and his cat by Cynthia Rylant. I also tried the Boggle Jr. game with her today and I was really excited because she liked it so much. Manipulative's is definitely the way to go with her. We also got some books with a character named Skippyjon Jones. He is a Siamese cat who thinks he is a Chihuahua. So cute. We had a really simple dinner of pizza and salad. The girls folded lots of laundry. I took a long bath and we put crabby pants to bed. Maybe tomorrow we will do something spring breakish. : )
