SNOW!!
Wow! There has to be 6 inches of snow or more in our yard. It's beautiful. The trees are all icy and sparkly with snow covering them. It's truly a winter wonderland. The winter storm has actually been a blessing. It's kept me busy for several days. Getting prepared, fooling with renting a generator, having the electrician come install it, shopping for groceries, getting my hair done, and making sure cars are ready. It was a great distraction. Then my parents decided to come in case the weather got really bad and we had the baby. So now it's been doubly fun and distracting. Thursday, my mom and I ran around in the cold, wet rain eating lunch, going to Walmart, the chiropractor, my prenatal appointment, taking the girls to gym, and then dinner. We started a puzzle that we finished yesterday and then started a new one last night. Puzzles HAVE to be one of my most FAVORITE pastimes and I rarely get the opportunity to work one. So sitting around waiting for Aubrey has turned out to be fun, not miserable. Although, Thursday night I had contractions 3 minutes apart for 4 hours and got absolutely no sleep! But I slept great last night and feel so much better. Today the kids are going to build a snowman and I will definitely be working the puzzle some more. Benji boy has a pretty yucky cold, so I will definitely be having to do a lot of snuggling with him. It is so nice that his papa and gg are here because he loves them so much. Having 3 other adults to help me today.... priceless!
